Observe New Mexico Elections (ONME) is an organization, based in New Mexico, committed to ensuring fair and transparent elections take place in New Mexico, to reinforce public trust in the election process and its outcomes.

The Carter Center (TCC) was founded by its namesake, former president Jimmy Carter, with the goal of reducing human suffering, by investing in election monitoring efforts, human rights advocacy and tropical disease prevention.

Single Space Strategies along with ONME, and The Carter Center, coordinated the observation of New Mexico’s 2025 regular local elections. Single Space expanded and refined existing tools that ONME and TCC had already created, providing more streamlined means and methods for election observers to report their findings. 

On election day, Single Space managed the Election Day Data Center in tandem with ONME. This center allowed for immediate communication amongst data clerks, election observers, and members of Single Space to solve issues as they arose. This coupled with the utilization of a bespoke data dashboard built by Single Space, allowed for quick collaboration to produce clean, reportable data on the fly and ensure that New Mexico’s election went as smoothly and transparently as possible
