The Rockefeller Foundation

The Rockefeller Foundation was founded in 1913, with the goal of solving complex global issues through an equal application of technology and science. The Rockefeller foundation leverages its substantial social capital, as well as its extensive contacts in global industries, to solve issues on a macro and micro scale around the world. Because of its extensive reach, the foundation is able to cooperate at a hands-on level with partners and grantees, allowing them to better understand and collaborate towards shared goals.

Single Space Strategies worked with The Rockefeller Foundation to design and lead the NM Climate Justice & Tax Policy Cohort in partnership with The Semilla Project. The cohort brought together fourteen organizations representing diverse expertise to engage in a process that blended policy learning, relationship-building, and collaborative strategy development.

The cohort resulted in a final Policy Blueprint: A Vision for the Future of New Mexico that serves as the cohort’s central tangible product, outlining actionable strategies across three interconnected pillars: Workforce Development Policy, Climate and Environment Policy, and Fiscal and Tax Policy.
